Welcome to Hair By Hope, I’m a passionate, self-employed hair stylist based at The Boutique in Knowle, specialising in colour, cuts, styling and hair extensions. My goal is to create beautiful, personalised results while always maintaining the health and integrity of your hair.

What happens during a colour appointment?
Your appointment will begin with a full consultation, where we'll discuss your hair goals and make sure we're both happy with the plan before getting started.
Once your colour has ben applied, it will develop while I check in with you throughout the processing time to make sure you're comfortable. We'll then finish your appointment with either a cut and blowdry or a wash and blowdry depending on your chosen service and wht you'd like.

Do I need a consultation or patch test before a colour appointment?
Yes. A consultation and patch test are required before your first colour appointment with me, or if it has been more than 6 months since your last colour appointment.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss your current hair, colour history and your desired result to make sure we’re booking the correct service and that your hair goals are achievable.
A patch test is also required to check for any sensitivity or allergic reaction to the colour products before your appointment. Both the consultation and patch test must be completed at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.

Are there any special amenities for clients during their visit?
Absolutely! I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your appointment. We offer a selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as a snack drawer that you're welcome to help yourself to.
Wi-Fi is also available and if you need to catch up on some work during your appointment, you're more than welcome to bring your laptop and work while you're in the salon.

Is your salon Child friendly?
Yes! Hair by Hope is a child-friendly salon, and we welcome clients of all ages. I offer children’s haircuts for ages 2–16 at a discounted price, making it easy for the whole family to get their hair looked after in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
